Scope and Contents Florence May Lyon was born in April 30, 1856 as Florence May Graha and died on September 2, 1935. She is buried in the Fulton Street Cemetery in Grand Rapids, MI alongside her husband Fredrick D Lyon. He lived until 1945. Fredrick was a tailor and took control of a major tailor business according to Chapman’s history of Grand Rapids from 1881. In 1913 he lost his job as second deputy of the highway department. Scope and Contents Harry Penny was a farmer in Allegan during these years. Not much has been found about him yet although in the 1930 census he is living in Illinois with his wife Alice. In July of 1903 an article announced that work on the new addition which would be built to the west had begun. Total cost of the addition would be $38,500.Charles W. She was unmarried but lived outside of her family’s house, boarding in various places. Marian latter married Robert Patterson who was a doctor. They moved around between Jackson and Cass County.
