This collection contains documents pertaining to Alvan Motor Freight, Inc., and various acquisition agreements carried out between Alvan, Putnam Transfer, and Daum. Also, the collection includes internal documents related to the production of a hand book for non-union employees, as well as various bank loan agreements.

This collection is comprised of materials relating to organist Frank E. (“Bud”) Taylor (1913 – 1997) and the State Theater of Kalamazoo. The materials cover a timespan from the mid 1930’s to the early 1980’s.

The collection is composed of one scrapbook from the Kalamazoo Sled Company from 1931-1952. The scrapbook is filled with advertisements of sleds, the majority of them made by the Kalamazoo Sled Company.

Scope and Contents This collection consists of one scrapbook created by Merrill R. Wiseman (1896-1966), who spent time in the Pacific theater during World War II. The scrapbook contains photos and memorabilia obtained by Merrill R. Scope and Contents Nelson Curtis was born in Kalamazoo, MI in 1921 to Bessie and Homer Curtis. In 1934, when the scrapbook was created, the family lived on 811 Harrigan Ct. and his father worked as a printer. His family attended the Kalamazoo Missionary Church. Curtis graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School in June 1939. After a couple years, he attended Western Michigan College to study education.
