This collection contains a large number of newsletters from the Milwood News, a weekly periodical supported by small businesses and civic organizations in the Milwood neighborhood of Kalamazoo, MI. This collection contains Numbers 1-45 of Volume 1, published between Thursday February 26, 1948 and December 30, 1948.

The collection is composed of newsletters from Volume 1 of the Morning Mail which provided news for residents of Downtown Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1962. It includes Vol. 1 No. 1 and Vol. 1 No. 7-47. The front top page of each reads “Morning Mail, The Morning Newsletter of Downtown Kalamazoo” and includes the volume, number, day of the week, weather and date.

Scope and Contents This collection includes the documents from the Nazareth Association, the alumni association for Nazareth College and Nazareth Academy. A part of the collection relates to the Nazareth Association’s activities from 1991 to 2021. Abstract

The collection is filled with scrapbooks documenting the activities of the Coldwater, Michigan Chapter, Number 1 of the Order of the Eastern Star (OES). Also included are newsletters from the Chapter along with newsletters from the Tyre Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons also from Coldwater.
