Elkin & Co., Ltd.

 Organization

Biography

The Elkin name in the music publishing industry dates back more than a century to 1903 when Robert Elkin established Elkin & Co., Ltd., a classical sheet music publishing firm, in London. A family-owned business for generations, the Elkin company and its catalog were sold to Novello & Co. in the 1960s by Robert's grandson Bill Elkin. Soon after the sale of the publishing firm, Bill and his wife Anne opened William Elkin Music Services, a retail and wholesale music distribution business.

For a full history of the music publishing entity see its website's about page.
