Biography

The Dolsons were successful wagon builders in Charlotte, Michigan, just southwest of Lansing, in the late-nineteenth century. The company built its first car in 1902 and began production in 1904. The Company was liquidated in 1908.

Letter to the Ward and Dolson Company in Charlotte, Michigan from D. C. and H. C. Reed and Company, Kalamazoo, Michigan on May 4, 1886. The letter was written by Geo A. Douglas asking Ward and Dolson to ship one buggy to Orson Douglas, Constantine, Michigan.

The letter contains two parts. The first part is a request for a buggy to be shipped to Constantine Michigan and the second part adding a question about record keeping.

Dates: Date of the letter is unknown. Know the company existed in the years 1882-1913 and possibly beyond.
