Regent Music Corp. was a publisher affiliated with BMI. May also appear displayed as "Regent Music Corporation" on releases.
The publishing company was founded in the late 30s or 1940 at Brill Building in New York. The founders Gene Goodman and Harry Goodman are brothers of Benny Goodman. In 1953 Gene Goodman and Leonard Chess from the Chess label set up ARC Music, owned 50/50 each. In 1964 the company acquired the publisher Jalo Music, Inc.
