Biography

Erik was born in Chicago to Donald and Barbara France on December 9, 1960. He grew up in North Carolina, attended Virginia Military Academy, the University of North Carolina, and received a doctorate in library science from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. He wrote and published short stories, poetry, and scholarly articles. After working as a librarian at preparatory schools across the United States, his last job was as Assistant Library Director at Tarrant County Community College.
