Biography

Acorrding to the Salamander magazine, Bonnie Auslander is a poet, essayist, and radio commentator from Washington, D.C. Her poems have appeared in FIELD, Poet Lore, Gargoyle, and elsewhere, and she recently took first place in the Society for Humanistic Anthropology poetry competition.

Several of her poems including "Ameri-Popsicle Salesforce Guidelines", "Beating Insomnia is Just Finding the Right Metaphor", and "No One's Crossing the Other Way on the One-Lane Covered Bridge" were published in Volume 9, no 2 of Parting Gifts, a project of March Street Press. She lived in Durham, North Carolina at the time the poems were published.
