Biography
Edward (E.C.) Vincent was born in Kalamazoo in 1879. Vincent worked as a real-estate developer in the Kalamazoo area. Vincent was involved in the surveying of land for a railway between Kalamazoo and South Bend, IN in 1906. He was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Kalamazoo National Bank and Trust Company in 1929. Vincent died from heart disease in 1946.

This collection contains materials relating to the home, located at 5315 Angling Road in Portage, MI, of Kalamazoo real-estate developer Edward (E.C.) Vincent (1879-1946).The blueprints in this collection are from c. 1940 when his home was being designed. The original architect of the home is unknown but the designs were found in materials relating to George Sprau Jr. The construction of the home was complete in 1945.
