Mary Meader; pioneering aerial photographer; b. Rachel Mary Upjohn in Kalamazoo, Apr. 15, 1916; married Richard Upjohn Light after dropping out of Smith College; Light was neurosurgeon and military pilot; Mary started taking photos while Dr. Light piloted; divorced early 1960s; married Edwin Meader, professor of geography.
