Biography
Dirk Hinga (1861-1928) moved from Holland into the Kalamazoo County, Michigan area, where he married Catherine J. Born. Marvin Hinga (1891-1951) married Mildred Quigley (1897-1994), daughter of James Francis Quigley and Alice May Nash. Many of the Quigley and Hinga family members were teachers and collected information on the Kalamazoo Public Schools and the Kalamazoo Education Association.
