Rena Bestervelt (1903-1988) and John H. Henshaw (1902-1994) were married on November 26, 1926. John worked as a draftsman at Brown Company. Rena and John had three children, Fred, Linda, and Margaret. Margaret (1939-2014) lived in the Kalamazoo area and worked with Catholic Family Services and Girl Scouts of Kalamazoo. She married twice, first to G. Wendel Swain and then to Walter Heath.
