Biography

According to the Fales Library and Special Collections, Jennifer "Sudie" Nostrand is a New York Poet whose work has been published in such literary magazines as The California Quarterly, The Greensboro Review, the Manhattan Poetry Review—among many others. The March Street Press later published a collection of her works entitled The Paris Poems in 2004 and in 2010 Nostrand released Variations with the same independent publisher.

Nostrand earned a Ph.D. in English Literature from New York University. She has gone by various names throughout her career: Jennifer Nostrand, Jennifer Sudie Nostrand, S. Nostrand, and, simply, Sudie.

Scope and Contents From the Collection: The collection is housed in 136 boxes (the first 135 labeled by Bixby himself) which document the creative output of March Street Press between 1992 until 2009. The bulk of the collection contains correspondence between the editor (Robert J. Bixby) and authors, manuscripts, proofs, copyright documents, photographs, cover art and ephemera.
