(A Guide to the Pilgrim Churches of Rome, illuminated for Margaret of York, Duchess of Burgundy, c.1475; Le Gouvernement des Princes and Other Romances, illuminated with 22 miniatures, Bourges, c.1490; three Romanesque manuscripts in Greek, including one dated 1052; an eleventh-century gospel book from Exeter Cathedral, recorded in the Cathedral Inventory of 1506; Italian Renaissance manuscripts including a very fine Ovid, Florence, c.1480, with miniatures by the Master of the Hamilton Xenophon; St. Basil translated by Leonardo Bruni and with a unique scribal specimen sheet, Rome, c.1460; 3 missing leaves from the celebrated De Levis Hours, Paris, c.1417; and the Hours of Francois le Clerc, 38 large miniatures, Paris, c.1485; single leaves and miniatures, including a leaf by Jacobellus of Salerno, c.1270; miniatures from the Papal Palace at Avingnon, c.1340; and a very large historiated initial of Job, Florence, c.1450-75; and an English Book of Hours attributed to the Ceasar Master, c.1450-60.)
