Scope and Contents
This collection is comprised of 5 card holder boxes containing 2,701 notecards created by Webber. Notecards contain excerpts from several Middle Dutch Translation publications formed into several series. "Christian Instruction" a series of notecards bearing excepts from Middle Dutch, relating to the theme of Christian instruction. "Dicta" a series of notecards bearing excepts from Middle Dutch, containing quotations from important Christian figure. "Old French" a series of notecards bearing copy and pasted excerpts from Old French texts. "Miniatures" a series of typed notes describing miniatures and noting in what folios they appear. "Latin" a series of notecards bearing copy and pasted excerpts from Latin texts. "Persons" a series of notecards bearing excepts from Middle Dutch referencing the personal names of Saints and Biblical figures. Books and other publish texts, which appear to be the sources of some of the excerpts used in the dictionary note cards are housed in 2 larger boxes.
