Auction Catalog Collections
Collections of catalogs from major international auction houses (Bloomsbury, Sotheby's and Christie's) pertaining to auctions that took place primarily in the early twentieth through the late twentieth century. The majority of the catalogs are for manuscript, book and jewelry sales, but a third collection recording auctions of a variety of other items is currently under development.
Fred Hartenstein Collection of Autographs
Eighty signed pieces of correspondence collected by Carnegie Library (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) librarian Sophie Levin between 1900-1911, which contain the autographs of notable figures from the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The collection was originally owned by the Carnegie Library, then given to Western Michigan University management professor, Dr. Fred V. Hartenstein, who donated it to Western Michigan University Libraries in 1983.

Nazi-period German serials, photos and ephemera, as well as American and some North African serials, as well as ephemera. This collection also contains books (the books are cataloged individually and searchable through the WMU Libraries catalog: Library Search).
