Scope and Contents
The collection is composed of seven issues of the publication Successful Rabbit Breeding published by the Hustling and later Chambers Publishing Companies in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The dates of the seven issues range from 1927 to 1930.
The Kalamazoo City Directories do not list either of these publishing companies or the Reliable Rabbit Supply Company that had an advertisement in the June, 1930 issue. The Ross Coller file does list an entry in 1933 for the Kalamazoo Rabbit Breeder's Association. In addition, there were no entries in the Kalamazoo Gazette found on the America’s Historical Newspaper database.
