They include items from American Hotel, menu, Easter, 1912, Park Club Announcement, 1927, Fuller Theatre programs May 4, 1916, January 11, 1916, March 17, 1916; Western State Normal School, Second Annual Musical Festival, May 20-26, 1916; Madame Jannasch-Shortt Music Institute, May 1922; Kalamazoo Musical Society, May, 1922; Philharmonic-Central Concerts, Kalamazoo High School Auditorium, November 28, 1924.

Abstract

The collection is composed of one scrapbook filled with programs, announcements, newspaper clippings and a menu from various Kalamazoo sites from 1912 to 1927.

Physical Description

The scrapbook is 9 ¼”x11 ½”x ¼” and amounts to .05 cubic feet. It has approximately five pages of varying sizes. The front and back cover is burgundy coated cardboard. The front has the words, "Scrap Album" in gold letters along with three black and white cats. The pages in the book are no longer attached to the spine and are loose. They are yellowed and brittle. The programs, menus and other items for the most part were glued into the scrapbook so not all of them are visible. Some of the programs are delicate and brittle. Most are yellowed but are still legible.
