Richard G. Lobdell Diary

 Collection
Identifier: RH-A-3338

Scope and Contents

The diary contains the day to day activities of Richard G. Lobdell in 1929, when he is 13 years old. The Diary begins on January 1, 1929 and he writes up to August 28, 1929. Most of the activities in the diary include, going to school, Sunday school, playing in a trio (which he soon quits), playing basketball, going on trips with his parents, listening to the radio (Amos and Andy, Real Folks, 3 in 1 Oilers, and The Dutch Masters Minstrels). He never really describes in great detail any of his trips, but mostly just where they went. His journal entries are usually fairly short and to point.
