The Mother’s Study Club was an organization that was active from the years 1925 to 1984 within the city of Galesburg, Michigan. The Mother’s Study Club’s mission was to create a wholesome and engaging environment to the children and other residents of the city of Galesburg, and did so by hosting several banquets, picnics, and pot lucks for the community.

This collection was initially part of a larger collection from the Galesburg Public Library.

Physical Description

The collection is 0.5 cubic feet, containing annual reports, handbooks, meeting notes, and thank-you cards belonging to the mother’s Study Club. The documents vary in size, condition, and design. Most documents are regular letter-sized, while others are all small as 4 by 3 inches or as large as 15 by 9 inches. The documents are all in outstanding condition, with essentially no marks of any wear or tear. The documents are predominately written in blue and black pen, though some are written in graphite pencil. There are no yellowing to its pages, in addition to little to no smudging of ink or pen.
