The back of the booklet is covered with more advertisements.

Abstract

The collection is composed of one booklet containing the scores and lyrics for several different Civil War era patriotic songs circa 1890, published by Redington, Syracuse New York.

Physical Description

The booklet is in decent condition. While all the writing is legible, the ink cuts off or fades in some places, like in the first song in the booklet, where some of the notes are half-legible because of the half-printed marks. There is also a stain in the top left corner of the booklet (middle, near the spine when unfolded) that is most noticeable on the cover and backside of the booklet, though it does leak through a few pages. The spine of the booklet also has a bit of a stain.

The spine of the booklet seems to have been sewed with many small stitches instead of held together with a staple.
