Scope and Contents From the Collection: Many of the documents range in age from 1899 to 1993 with the majority from the period 1899 to approximately 1922. The postcards are not identified but some locations can be found by looking at the buildings in the distance, like the State Hospital Water Tower. A few had writing on them with postmarks, but very few. All are identified as “Kalamazoo.” They are images of celery fields that are either empty or filled with a variety of people.
