  • Existence: ca. 1909 - 1932

Biography

The Blossom Shop, 303 South Burdick Street, Kalamazoo, Michigan, was purchased by Alice E. Blossom and her husband in 1909. It was primarily a millinery shop until about 1929 when Alice is listed as a seller of goods from China. The Blossom Shop should not be confused with The Blossom Shoppe, a business which sold flowers and funeral arrangements. This business was contemporary with the Blossom Shop and outlasted it by a considerable amount of time.
