Biography
Esther Meachum was born December 28, 1909. She graduated from high school in Bangor, Michigan, in 1926 and attended Western Michigan University in 1928. She was employed by Western Michigan University in the registration office and the library from 1950-1969. In 1968 she married Harold Lafler. Esther died March 30, 2006.

This collection is composed of a certificate of achievement for Esther Meachum issued in 1916. The certificate was presented to Esther when she was likely still in Elementary school.
