Little David Electrode Holder sign
Scope and Contents
The collection is composed of photographs and signs from the Lacey-Webber Company that was located in Kalamazoo between 1939 and 1947. The photographs show the products they made along shots of assembling them. Based on the Ward Morgan numbers and comparing them to the list of the negatives we have at the Archives, more than likely these photographs were taken in 1939. The photographs are mainly of workers assembling products, the products themselves and several individual head shots of employees. They show workers putting together company products, their dress and hairstyles, along with shots of the interior of the plant located at East Water Street. Ward Morgan took almost all of the photographs however the numbers do not appear of the WMU Archives list of Morgan negatives (0194 and 0205) but the number range puts these photographs in 1939. There is one photograph that was taken by J.D. Shiavone.
