This series consists of multiple financial statements from some of the formative years of the company, 1901-1933. The types of material contained in these folders are long and short form end of year financial statements of the company in a given year, as well as annual reports that were submitted to the government for that year. Also included in some folders are censuses of manufacture and corporation tax statements for the year. The condensed financial statements from 1926-1933 have somewhat different documents than the 1901-1928 financial statements (See Oversize documents for 1929-1937 Financial Statements). These include condensed balance sheets for the year, condensed statements of profit and loss, and disposition of profits. Of special note are the financial statements from 1929-1933 during the depression when Upjohn recorded profits throughout these years.
