Executive Diary, 1931
Scope and Contents
Executive diaries contain abstracts of the day's or week's activities for a certain unknown executive through the years 1931-1954. Business activities are the main concern, but some personal activities with business partners are included. Also, events such as the death of W. E. Upjohn are included as well.
The executive notices and general list notices were general correspondence about company business that was given to executives or to the "general list" which included the entire company. These notices were the primary means of daily communication throughout the company, and as such offer a good deal of information. The executive notices run from 1932-1938 while the general list notices run from 1969-1972.
