This collection amounts to 0.05 cubic feet and is composed of one Lincoln program from 1909 and one red tag from 1908. The program contains the menu, the day’s schedule, the individuals speaking, and the names of the individuals involved in each committee that participated in the Centenary Celebration. The tag has a photo of the library, the name, and the date. It’s a red-orange tag with a tan string.

The program is approximately 5.5” x 7”. The paper is yellowed with fading patterns that indicate that something else was sitting on top of it. The four pages are held together by a red-white-and blue striped ribbon. An orange portrait of Abraham Lincoln is featured on the cover. The inside cover has an advanced yellowing rectangle, indicating that there was something placed inside for a long period of time.

The red tag is in the shape of a shield that is approximately 2.5” by 2.75” with a tan string that measures approximately 5.75” looped and knotted through a hole at the top of the tag. Creasing indicates that one corner of the tag has been folded and there is also light creasing down the middle as if it had been slightly bent. There is a small light scrape on one side of the tag. The print on the tag is slightly askew and the bottom point of the paper is slightly worn.
