Paula Lupina was employed by the pharmaceutical company known respectively as the Upjohn Company, Pharmacia & Upjohn, Pharmacia, and Pfizer from 1972 – 2004. She did secretarial work for the departments of Discovery Research, Global Operations, and Facilities Resources.

The items, which consist of corporate publications and office supplies, came to the Regional History Archives in February, 2011 due to Lupina's moving out of the area.

The main domestic subsidiary is Asgrow which was acquired by Upjohn in 1968 and is a large seed company that boosted Upjohn's presence in the Agricultural field.
